Just let´s talk about the spike mode again... I would prefer a special winter power car in my garage... a 1985er Peugeot 205T16 but only with spikes... and they are not allowed even to buy here... if I find the car I like we´ll should talk again... btw: on the MTB I can mount 240 spikes on a 26x2,25 with 87kg riding...it´s also damage to the streets??? add: baut sweden and denmark are well with AUDI don´t they?
Thanks for helping! I know about the DRL-Coding. It's there. What I thought was that it would switch on the Xenons automatically. Stupid me. Wait a moment - I'm gonna try it.
I remembered the wrong thing. It was in fact the permanent-on coding for the main head lights (Device 09-central electronics > coding > byte 11, bit 2) You have your Xenons running all the time with this coding (even in zero position of the light switch). Here is a VERY big please: Can you ask your VCDS pro to read the complete HEX-Coding of your central electronics device (adress 09) and post it here? It is your cars complete electrical configuration (e.g. if there is a light/rain-sensor installed etc; and also the behavior of your DRL, I hope). Here is my own one - it should look something like this: 46000A2FA0051800201840E02100894C537F720A01EF5DB2E4088787E045
Hmmmm also laut unseren skandinavischen Kollegen hier kann man also beim A1 auch eine Ländereinstellung umstellen auf USA/Canada ? Wären das die permanent aktivierten Blinkleuchten mit 30% ? Wäre das erlaubt nach STVO ? Das wäre doch eine nette Einstellung fürs VCDS Martin?

Gesehen habe ich die Einstellung. Probiert habe ich es noch nicht. Dann wird auch mit den Rücklichtern geblinkt, oder? Kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass das legal sein soll. Yes? And...!?
First I was there... I saw it with my own eyes. I second 100% DRL and no tail ligths next second DRL + tail ligths ON "easy"... Thanks to my pro friend. BTW, I don't drive with xenons all the time only DRL,... (that's the law)
