Hi, the max. weight for the front axle should be mentioned in your car's Certificate of Compliance. You will find it under item no. 16.2. if the CoC follows the same pattern everywhere in the EU. Mine, a 122 hp 1.4, fitted with S-tronic, has a max. weight for the front axle of 905 kg. Don't know if it's less for a 6-speed handshifted gearbox.
hello, thanks for your answer ... booklet on paper do not set this value ... there only the empty mass or fully loaded ... axle no ... a friend of mine told me to check a VIN label black ... near the passenger door ____ hallo, danke für deine Antwort ...
I found the values, My 1.4 tfsi 6manual - front 890kg - rear 775kg Eibach 01: - front 880kg - rear 800 Eibach 02: - front 930kg - rear 800 that there were 2 springs for my pro kit ... found that all Eibach to the rear are to 800kg and my back is to 775kg ... less then 25kg ... on the back so it will be more hard .... if Eibach want to put the rear springs at 800kg so its harder than 25kg perhaps all 'front would be better to put more strict to compensate ...... then put the 930kg instead of 880 ...? i believe better 930kg
Sorry for my late reply! Eibach 02 is the appropriate set for your A1. Set 01 is too weak for the front axle.
