Hello, sorry for using English as I am not german. I wonder if anyone done the Bose retro fit to an A1 with RMC? Any guides available? I found a complete set of speakers and amps but i wonder what cables needed and software hacks? Angus

Hi Angus, I have retrofitted the Audi Sound System and "enhanced" that by adding the Bose Highs, Center & Mid-Speakers. But I connected those to the ASS outputs. Took a couple of resistors to adjust volumes of the speakers and a couple of caps and coils to get them separated. Works like a charm. Stuck to the ASS low-mids in the doors, though. They are 2 Ohms and give a little more low-end. If you still go for the complete retrofit, please be so kind and keep us updated! I'd love to hear how it progresses. Might inspire me to go all the way...

I would love to go for a complete retrofit. I have got all the needed speakers, a total 13 of them for the sportback. I want to know if i need additional cables to retrofit them and also any software work to open up the bose function. Also, i wonder where u get the Bose lights?
